The e-Auctions are pretty simple where you have to bid on a number you like and wait for the bid to close. BSNL segregates bidders into three categories (H1, H2, H3) based on the amount bided and the opportunity to get hands on the fancy number is transferred every time the current category fails to pay the bid amount such as if H1 fails, the bid goes to H2 and so on. Want to get your hands on a fancy number from BSNL? Check out the step-by-step instructions mentioned below to get your hands on it. Here’s how.

Step #7: Once you have paid the registration fee, you can click on “My Bid Status” everytime you are online on BSNL e-Auction website to check its current status.
Additional Details For The BSNL e-Auction
According to BSNL guidelines, BSNL has three classes of bidders on each number that it segregates as H1, H2, and H3. The allocated number is first assigned to H1 if the bid is highest (and based on other factors). H1 has to pick the number and pay the amount within 7 days, both H2 and H3 will get their refund in 22 days. If H1 fails to pay the bid amount within a stipulated time, H2 gets the opportunity to own the number and has to pay within 7 days. Here, H1’s registration fee is forfeited while H3 gets the refund in 31 days. If both H1 and H2 fail to pay the bid amount and own the fancy number in question, both of their registration fees are forfeited. The H3 gets the opportunity to own the number within 7 days (after H2 is forfeited) or else the registration fee of the trio is forfeited.
